Apostle April Cofie

Apostle April Cofie is a native of Nashville, Tennessee. She accepted the call to ministry in 1994 while attending Living Word COGIC. Living Word is under the leadership of Bishop George O. Adebanjo. Ms Cofie served this congregation in a variety of capacities; such as, Church Secretary, Minister of Transportation, Children's Church Instructor, as well as the prayer team. She graduated from Victory Bible Training Center in 1997. Victory was a layman's bible school offered at Victory Fellowship Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Pastor Bill McRae is the shepherd at Victory Fellowship.

This awesome experience at Victory Bible Training Center led Apostle to take a huge leap of faith. In 1998 April and her daughter Khadija (who was only 10 years old) moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to peruse a much higher level of ministry training at RHEMA Bible Training Center under the oversight of one of the late Fathers of Faith, Kenneth Hagin, Sr. She completed her education at RHEMA by graduating in the School of Pastoral Ministry, Inaugural Class of 2001. During the three years she attend RHEMA Bible Training Center, Ms Cofie served at RHEMA Bible Church on the prayer team and with the alter care team.

The following year was devoted to Igleshia Piedra Angular where Apostle Cofie taught an ESL Class and gained a deep love for our Hispanic brothers and sisters.

On May 11, 2002 Apostle was ordained for the pastorate through Faith Christian Fellowship in Tulsa, OK. Her next big move was back to Tennessee. GOD led The Cofies to settle in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Apostle April became acquainted with Pastor S. Alsup, whom she quickly discovered was a RHEMA graduate, also. She became one of his assistant pastors and led The Final Authority Church during his lengthy illness.

Following Pastor Alsup's return to The Final Authority Apostle pioneered Unity Christian Fellowship in 2004. The first services were held at The Quality Inn in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Once Unity Christian Fellowship was birthed Cofie's personal ministry seemed to take flight and go into other dimensions of the fivefold. This is when she began to be more and more aware of the apostolic call. She studied The Prophetic with Prophetess Sandy Powell of PowerHouse Ministries in Nashville, TN. While in search of a deeper understanding of the happenings in her life and the apostolic movements, a friend connected her with Apostle Janice Fountaine and Kingdom Apostles Worldwide. In February of 2011 she completed the Emerging Apostles class taught by Apostle Fountaine while also perusing a second degree in Entrepreneurship at Middle Tennessee State University. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Retail Management from the University of Tennessee.

Apostle currently serves under the covering of Apostle Janice Fountaine and the Fivefold Church Fellowship as the 5th Vice Prelate and overseer of One Word Teacher's Alliance (Education Division). She is also the founder of DaughterZ of Thunder, a ministry school for new (unseasoned) women in ministry based in Murfreesboro, TN.  DaughterZ of Thunder held its first class on July 30, 2011.  The lesson was The Call of GOD.

In April of 2011 she was voted president of Tau Sigma Honor Society.  The members of Pi Sigma Epsilon, a coed business fraternity voted Apostle Cofie VP of Administration in September 2011, then executive Vice President in December 2011.  She is also a member of Devine Diamonds, Wise Men & Women, and Amazing You.

Her "speech and" her "preaching" are "not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power…"
